Brian McLaren: Brian
is the founding pastor of Cedar Ridge
Community Church in the Washington D.C. area. Brian is a prominent
voice in the conversation of the emerging church and his thinking and
writing has influenced many of us. He is the author of several books
including More Ready Than You Realize and the revolutionary A
New Kind of Christian. "My dream is to change the way people think about church and
Christianity," -Brian McLaren
Jim Henderson: Jim
is an innovative thinker and passionately committed to normalizing evangelism
for ordinary Christians. In 2000 Jim and Dave Richards founded Off the
Map to help move that idea forward. Off
The Map puts on several national events each year and publishes
a monthly ezine called The Idealab. Jim paints houses as his day job
and is currently in the midst of writing "The People Jesus Misses
Most". He is a provocateur and will be bringing that touch to this
event with some Mayhem-like interviews.
Allelon
> website
Allelon is a privately funded operating ministry foundation established
in 1999 by Mark and Jeanette Priddy. It was established for the purpose
of resourcing Missional Churches dedicated to reaching contemporary
culture, establishing new communities of faith devoted to one another,
and creating new delivery systems for equipping, and resourcing existing
churches. The word allelon is a common but overlooked New Testament
word that is reciprocal in nature. Christian faith is not an individual
matter. Everything in the life of the church is done allelon for the
sake of the world. A Christian community is defined by the allelon sayings
in Scripture.

OTM is a non-profit organization founded in 2000 by Dave Richards and
Jim Henderson. We focus our energies on helping people cultivate a practical
spirituality ... a spirituality that is less about beliefs (head knowledge)
and more about what works. We produce large events (conferences) and
provide consulting services for churches wanting help in learning how
to navigate the challenges and cultural shifts of post modernity.
Next-Wave
> website
To bring together Christians from all walks of life, including pastors,
church planters and leaders across denominational and national borders,
who want to reach out to people in postmodern culture, and who understand
that, in order to do so, significant changes need to be made in the
way we run and organize our churches. Next-Wave wants to explore new
ways, discuss them, study them. Next-Wave is a place where any person,
pastor, planter or leader can contribute. Discuss your strategy, raise
your questions, list your objectives, explain your experiments, and
share your stories with us!
